The Troup-Harris Public Library is proud of its dedicated group of volunteers.  You too can join our elite corps of helping hands!  You will make a big difference in the quality of library service in your community by sharing your time and talents.  Volunteering will offer you benefits, by providing the opportunity to build needed job skills and references, to satisfy community service requirements, or simply to stay active, help people, and keep up with the latest books and programs.

There is an ongoing need at all locations for help sorting and shelving materials, shelf reading, computer assistance, tutoring, and helping with special projects.  Many volunteers come with ideas of their own on how they might improve services, and we’d like to hear yours!  You’ll receive the training you need, and work side by side with staff in every library activity.
