LaGrange Memorial Library Renovation

Dear Valued Community Member,

We are asking for your help and support as we work to refurbish and expand services at the LaGrange Memorial Library.  In 2021, we celebrated our 100th anniversary year of providing public library service, as started by the LaGrange Woman’s Club in 1921 with 300 books housed in their assembly room.   Will you donate to our capital campaign, so that it may continue to serve this community for its next 100 years?

We are hard at work to provide a 21st century library to meet the needs of our community, and plan to include the usual books and technology, but also to add larger and more numerous meeting spaces to better accommodate programming and community demand, training rooms for workforce development, a zero noise study area, both tech-driven and traditional art maker spaces, our very first teen area, and an outside, gated learning courtyard with child-friendly equipment and seating areas.

Will you please consider including the library in your gift giving plans, so that we may continue our mission of providing lifelong learning to the LaGrange community and all of Troup County?  We will gratefully accept tax deductible donations of any amount.  Please click here to go directly to PayPal, to make your donation.  We thank you in advance and wish you all the best in 2022.

Sincerely,

The LaGrange Memorial Library Board of Trustees

Due the recent extreme weather, its results, and impending severe storms the Troup-Harris Regional Library will be closed today, Monday the 27th. We will plan on reopening Tuesday the 28th.
