LaGrange Memorial Library Renovation

Dear Valued Community Member,

We are asking for your help and support as we work to refurbish the local LaGrange Memorial Library during this, its 100th anniversary year, so that it may continue to serve this community for its next 100 years. Yes, that’s right, we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of our first library that was started by the LaGrange Woman’s Club in 1921, with 300 books housed in their assembly room.

We are hard at work to provide a 21st century library to meet the needs of our community, and plan to include the usual books and technology, but also to add larger and more numerous meeting spaces to better accommodate programming and community, computer rooms and training rooms, study rooms, as well as a maker space, separate teen and children’s areas, and an outside, gated learning courtyard with child-friendly equipment and seating areas.

During this upcoming holiday season, will you please consider including the library in your gift giving plans so that we may continue our mission of providing lifelong learning to our LaGrange area community?

We will gratefully accept tax deductible donations of any amount. We offer you the option of honoring or remembering someone special in your life during this holiday season through a donation to the LaGrange Memorial Library fund of the Troup Harris Regional Library, and we will gladly provide that gift notification as noted on the form below. We would love to share the news of the LaGrange Memorial Library’s first 100 years and its plans for its next century of service with those whom you designate.

To make it fast and easy, we offer two ways to donate right now.
