The Troup-Harris Regional Library is now lending Google Chromebooks and Playaway Launchpads.  The technology can be checkout out for 2 weeks.

Playaway Launchpads are pre-loaded learning tablets that have a variety of educational games for children encourage language and literacy development. The content category and age range is on the packaging.  No internet needed.  

The Chromebooks are 11.6″ HP laptops running ChromeOS.  They do require internet access.
