This book is made up of stories from Karen and Georgia's past. They're touching, insightful, and hilarious! From the pain of losing a parent to Alzheimer's to dealing with addiction and breakups, this book makes you feel like you know the authors and makes you empathize with them.

I'm on number 10 of this gripping and suspenseful series, which is more more accurately supernatural adventure than science fiction. All The Rage is my series favorite so far. Not unlike a fallen CIA agent (think the show "Burn Notice"), Jack's identity is intentionally stricken due to a past crime of passion. However, he maintains a superhero's ability to fix folk's problems when they need assistance specifically off of the radar. This is the world in which Repairman Jack dwells, and in All The Rage he is charged with combating a new street drug Berzerk, which allows users to possess supernatural strength and ability. It's a well-constructed story line, that never slows down. Highly recommended!

This mystery series features Chief Inspector Gamache of the Sûreté du Quebec and the residents of a small village called Three Pines located somewhere between Montreal and the Vermont border. In Still Life, A local’s murder brings the chief inspector and his team to Three Pines. It appears that Jane Neal is killed in a hunting accident but Gamache, a quiet, observant, and thoughtful policeman, figures out it is murder. As he interviews the residents we get to know them and their quirks and their secrets. As Gamache and his team peel away the layers secrets he reveals the murderer and motive. The vivid description of the village and locals makes me want to join them at the bistro for a Café au lait.
